PEMAP members gathered at the 2026 General Membership Meeting and Election

PEMAP 50th Anniversary and General Membership Meeting

July 17, 2026

PEMAP celebrated its 50th anniversary alongside its Annual Election and General Membership Meeting at Seda Manila Bay in Pasay City, guided by the theme “Together, We Deliver Smarter, Safer, and Stronger.” Members reelected GO21 Logistics' Alma Lumibao-Rias as president for a third consecutive year and selected a new leadership team to support the association's continued growth. The leadership team also includes Vice President Atty. Juan Paolo Artiaga of LBC Express, Secretary Atty. Ruel Nico Mari of JRS Express, Treasurer Racquel Marquez of SAC, Auditor Ferdinand Diño of Mesco Express, and PRO Lanie Elevenson of LiteXpress. PEMAP also recognized event sponsors CPSI Certifications, CloudWorkZ Technologies Corp., Lite Xpress, and the Credit Card Association of the Philippines, whose informative talk highlighted credit card fraud and practical prevention measures, as well as special guest Atty. Carlo Paolo P. Murcia, Director of the DICT Postal Regulation Division.

PEMAP and MPTC strengthen support for logistics operations

PEMAP directors met with the MPTC Transport and Interest Groups Corporate Affairs with an initiative to support the operations of PEMAP members. Among these are Driver Safety and Defensive Driving Seminars, timely dissemination of traffic advisories, as well as orientation on the Anti-Overloading Vehicle Program (AOVP).

We thank the MPTC for this initiative and for recognizing the critical operations of logistics on our roads.

PEMEDES Messenger Work License Portal Launch

PEMAP President Ms. Alma Lumibao-Rias, together with the PEMAP Board of Directors and its members GO21 Logistics, LBC Express, and Mesco Express, attended the official launch of the PEMEDES Messenger Work License (MWL) Portal at the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Headquarters in Quezon City.

The portal was designed to professionalize the delivery sector and recognize the contributions of couriers.

PEMAP participated in the Kapihan Talk Show organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), which centered on a discussion of Oplan Bantay Padala.

The Kapihan, designed as a dialogue among PEMEDES operators, served as a platform to address concerns and highlight improvements in the industry. We thank the DICT for this invitation, and for creating platforms for a dialogue.
